Gobongdang is more than a place to fill up. It brings together the generosity and care of the old days with the fun and visuals today’s diners love. “Gobong” means piling the ribs up like a mountain — a promise to serve generously and put real heart into every plate. Since appearing on the TV show Delicious Guys and being named one of Korea’s top 3 pork back rib spots, Gobongdang has become a destination in itself for visitors to Hongdae from all over the world.
We start with pork back ribs made the traditional 80s way, then add Gobongdang’s own sauce, smoky char, a sizzling hot plate and 99% mozzarella. As the sauce bubbles and the cheese slowly melts, spicy fire and creamy richness hit at the same time. Grabbing the bone and tearing in, wrapping each bite in cheese, the addictive sweet-and-spicy sauce — first-timers may hesitate, but this is the dish they always end up ordering.
Our signature rice cake reinterprets traditional injeolmi the Gobongdang way — golden and nutty on the outside, soft and endlessly stretchy inside. The moment you cut it, it pulls like slime: fun to watch, fun to stretch, fun to eat. After the spicy ribs, the nutty, sweet injeolmi brings your palate right back into balance — so order the two together.

등갈비찜 세트로 주문했는데 정말 너무 맛있었어요! 😊 등갈비는 부드럽고 양념도 딱 제 입맛이었습니다. 특히 인절미 떡구이는 대박! 고소하고 쫀득해서 꼭 같이 드셔보세요.👍🏻 조개탕도 조개살이 실하고 국물이 시원해서 등갈비와 정말 잘 어울렸습니다. 전체적으로 음식 퀄리티도 좋고 만족스러운 식사였어요. 다음에도 또 방문하고 싶습니다🤗

서울 놀러왔는데 조카가 여기 가보고 싶었다고 해서 왔는데 듣던대로 맛있네요. 등갈비는 매콤달콤한 양념이 잘 배어 있고 고기도 부드러워서 정말 맛있었어요. 꿔바로우도 바삭하면서 쫀득한 식감이 최고였습니다. 가족들과 맛있게 잘 먹고 갑니다. 다음에도 또 방문할게요!
